Contributed articles
We take contributed pieces on Australian sport and on the business around it. A contribution has to stand on its own as something a reader would finish: a working explanation, a set of numbers with a source, an argument with a case behind it. Press releases and thin promotional copy are declined.
Paid placements
Placements are sold on this domain and they are labelled. Every paid link carries a sponsored attribute, and paid pieces sit in the contributed section rather than in the editorial sections. We do not remove the label, and we do not sell editorial coverage.
What we will not run
- Anything presented as our own reporting when it is not.
- Copy aimed at readers under 18, or anything unlawful to publish in Australia.
- Gambling promotion inside editorial pieces. The regulation of betting advertising in Australian sport is a subject we cover; it is not a product we sell.
